Delete Your Account

How to request account deletion on Upreels, what happens to your data, and when it is permanently removed.

Delete in the Upreels app

Open the Upreels app and sign in
Go to Settings (tab bar)
Tap Account
Tap Delete account and confirm

If you don't have the app

Email [email protected] with the subject line Account Deletion Request and include the email address registered on your Upreels account. We will process your request within 7 business days.

What happens immediately

Your account is deactivated and you are signed out
You can no longer log in or use the platform
Push notification tokens are removed from our systems
Any active subscription is cancelled (if applicable)

What is retained temporarily (up to 30 days)

During a 30-day grace period, your profile information, chat history, gallery metadata, and related records may remain in our systems. This allows us to recover accounts in cases of accidental deletion or to investigate abuse.

Full data removal timeline

Within 30 days of your deletion request, automated processes permanently delete your account data and uploaded media from our database and Cloudflare R2 storage.

What may be kept longer

Anonymised analytics aggregates that cannot identify you
Payment and subscription records that Razorpay or applicable law requires us to retain (Upreels does not store your card number or CVV)
